The Google app achieves a record in downloads

Google has announced that its application for video and audio communication "Google Duo" has
reached a record in downloads on its flagship store on Android.

Google has announced that the number of downloads of the Google Duo application from the Google Play store has reached one billion downloads this week since its launch in 2016.


The Google Duo application is Google's main rival for a number of similar applications, such as Microsoft's Skype application or TimeTime, but still remains less popular than these applications.
